Valley of the Daylilies

Dear Gardening Friends,

Thank you for perusing our first color catalog featuring Valley Of The Daylily introductions and those of our friend Joan Kepf. We are offering 15 new registrations for 2008, all diploid from our narrow breeding program. Jackie and I are quite pleased with and excited about these offerings and hope you will enjoy them as well. Valley Of The Daylilies will still offer hundreds of cultivars from other breeders, both new and old, bagel and spider on our website http://valleyofthedaylilies.com . Check out our separate spider and nostalgic listings there.

We encourage visitors during bloom season as we have not only the commercial growing field but an AHS Garden and will have several thousand Bachman seedlings on their maiden bloom in 2008. Our peak bloom is generally early July and this year will coincide with the second annual Southwestern Ohio Hybridizers Group of Northern Mecca Tour on Friday, Saturday and Sunday July 4-5-6. This tour involves 6 hybridizing gardens around the Dayton-Lebanon, Ohio area (Check northernmecca.com website for more info) Additionally the Valley Of The Daylilies Open House is tentatively scheduled for Monday, July 7 through Sunday, July 13. We are easy to find as we are 1 mile off I-71 at exit #32, 30 miles north of CityCincinnati and 70 miles south of Columbus.

We ship generous double divisions (at least) except for new intros and enjoy sending bonus plants. Please send a long list of suggestions. We will not substitute without your permission, please include list of possible subs. Valley Of The Daylilies is not only our business but our passion and we want the customer to be satisfied with their plants. If you are not satisfied with your shipment, do not plant. Return them to us with original tags for a refund or replacement.

Shipping is $8.00 plus 50 cents per plant for UPS ground service or US Priority mail. UPS 2nd. Day air is $15.00 plus 50 cents per plant. Garden pick-up is also available. Payment must accompany order. We accept checks, money order, Visa, Master Card and Paypal. Ohio residents must pay 7% sales tax. We do offer international shipping where possible, call or e-mail for information.
